Mr.P.S.Muthuswamy (T.Stanes Group of Companies India)

He was a Whole Time Director of T.Stanes Group of Companies, with over 44 years of experience. He is a Graduate in Commerce, and also a certified A.C.A (Associate Chartered Accountant) and A.C.S. (Associate Company Secretary). He is still practicing his profession even after his retirement.

As a senior member of the management team, he was also a Director of various Subsidiaries of T.Stanes Group for several years and has been in the management team of two Plantation Companies of the same group. He has also served as the President of the Auditor’s Association of Southern India, Coimbatore (1988 – 1991).

He was the first Chairman of the Coimbatore Chapter of the Company Secretaries of India (1975 – 1981) and was a nominated member of the Regional Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (1981).

He was the Study Circle Chairman of the Coimbatore Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has chaired several Seminars and conferences of various Professional Institutes.

He also served as Honorary Secretary of the Coimbatore Chamber of Commerce for over two decades and a keen scholar of Company Law, Commercial Laws, Accounting and Auditing Standards.

His enormous experience has helped many start-up companies to formulate their business strategies and to grow.

Mr.A.Krishnamoorthy, Position Director, Cethar Vessels,

He is an M.A (Public Administration) and M.B.A with specialization in Financial and Personnel Management. In his four decades of Banking experience starting with a tenure in Reserve Bank of India, Krishnamoorthy held several territorial and functional jurisdictions as senior executive in Andhra Bank (Govt. of India undertaking) heading operational units at Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai and as General Manager in charge of Human Resources Development, Credit and Priority sector advances. He held the post as concurrent chairman of Banking services Recruitment Board of Andhra Pradesh appointed by Govt. of India.

He was appointed by RBI as Chairman and Chief Executive officer of Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd., which he held till April 2005. His wide experience and knowledge in Banking enabled him to land his expertise as member of various Advisory Committees of Indian Banks Association, Reserve Bank of India and several development institutions of central and state governments and as Convener State Level Bankers’ Committee, Andhra Pradesh.

His credits include innovations like introducing credit card as a payment system and steering the activities of Self-Help Groups through Micro Finance. He has widely travelled and participated and presented papers at several International and National Seminars. He joined Cethar Vessels (P) Limited as Director on the Board in the backdrop of his illustrious career in Banking and Finance, to assist the company to convert its vision to reality with missionary zeal, strategic planning, labour welfare, employee motivation, customer origination and profit maximization, corporate governance of highest order and with an eye for social responsibility.

In the Insurance domain, has worked very closely with Aviva Insurance and hence understands the Insurance domain as well as the Banking Business.

He is currently an Advisor for Cethar Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. He is on the board of various other companies as well.

Krishnamurthi Thyagarajan

Experienced in the Insurance Domain - Since 1969 and continuing (Over 40 years) and over 26 years in Senior Positions in Life Insurance Corporation of India.

After retirement from LIC, Thyagarajan is now a busy professional consultant in the Insurance field serving as Advisor and Consultant to various business organisations to structure activities in the field of Insurance.

Thyagarajan has served in senior positions with an emerging broking organisation while it was planning to enter Life / Non-Life and ReInsurance business, in order to devise plans and strategies for the structuring and establishment of the same. Currently, he is serving as the Principal Officer (C.O.O) of a leading Insurance Broking Organisation. He has been involved in the recruitment and training of several aspirants entering the Insurance domain.

Thyagarajan is also the Guest faculty for the Management Development Institutes of various Insurance companies and Professional Institutions as well as at the Central University, Puducherry.

A member of various committees, research and advisory groups in Insurance, he has authored various training material and course contents for Insurance companies, contributed to the designing and framing rules for different Insurance Products and has provided domain support for leading Software Developers seeking to develop Insurance Software.

Sairam. V

Sairam has about 25 years of expertise in Technology Infrastructure Management and Project Implementation with sound knowledge on latest technologies, covering various business domains and job functions.

He has a proven track record of handling complex projects and highly experienced in handling Modern Technology, providing solutions, formulation and implementation of processes, team's personal and professional development, managing people and ensuring customer satisfaction.

He has worked in senior positions both in India and abroad and has been instrumental in introducing state-of-art technology and systems in all his employments which include Mauritius Revenue Authority – Govt. of Mauritius, Vispark Solutions, Amrita Institutions, Centre for Advance Computing-Pune, Suhail-Saud Bahwan Muscat and KSB Pumps.

Some of the complex projects handled by him include Mauritius Customs Activities and Port, On-Line E-Governance project for Mauritius Revenue Authority which enabled the Mauritius Government to introduce online tax collections, Diamond Cutting and Polishing process tracking system for Kirtilal Kalidass, MRP-2 and ERP Systems for KSB Pumps, etc.

He is a Qualified ISO Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2000.

Shanmuganathan. K (Life Insurance Corporation of India)

A Bachelor of Commerce Graduate with 34 Years experience as Assistant Divisional Manager – Planning, Market Research at LIC. He was also the Licentiate Member and Associate Member of Insurance Institute of India.

His accomplishments include conducting training to agents and advisors of different Insurance companies for IRDA Licensing Examinations, Planning and Review of business, Market Research, Policy Servicing, Claims Processing and New Business Accounts.

He was also the Administrative Head of Pension and Group Schemes and Branch In charge of both marketing and administration.

Buvarahaswamy Srinivasan (Life Insurance Corporation of India)

With 37 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics, he was working as the Regional Manager (Zonal Manager Grade) at LIC. His additional qualifications include Fellow of Chartered Insurance Institute (London), Life Branch.

He has worked in various capacities in almost all departments of L.I.C., India. He had the opportunity to work in three zones covering several states in India and has worked for over two decades in the Management Services Division (later renamed as the Information Technology Department) in various capacities. Due to his unique combined knowledge and expertise of Business and Systems, he was designing systems for L.I.C. After retirement, he served as Guest faculty for various educational institutions teaching the Life Insurance Business.

A Tech Savvy person, his domain knowledge and application of Information Technology to Insurance domain will be a great boon. He is a person with vast knowledge in Insurance Business, will be able to provide his valuable experience for any I.T. System designed for the Insurance business.

Namby. M.V (United India Insurance Co. Ltd)

A Divisional Manager with about 38 years in the Insurance Domain and a Bachelor of Arts Graduate, started his career in the General Insurance Industry. He has served in various capacities and positions during his long tenure.

He has served as a member of AFII (Associate of Federation of Insurance Institute).

Extremely well versed in Underwriting and Claims which include MACT (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal), he has widely travelled for Business Reasons and has been a regular participant of various technical sessions which kept him always up-to-date with the business rules and policies.

He has been specially trained at the National Insurance Academy, India and has also served as a part time faculty member of the Regional Examining Centre of United India Insurance Company.

A regular faculty member of the Coimbatore Insurance Institute and which involved conducting classes for the employees of various Insurance companies and to prepare them for the Licentiate Examinations.

He presently handles cases referred to Insurance Ombudsman on behalf of aggrieved parties and has constantly kept himself updated about the Insurance Business even after retirement and hence sought after by his previous employer and others to get his guidance.

He is a Philanthropist, who heads various social activities in the neighbourhood and also heads a Resident’s Association.

Suryanarayanan. S

Suryanarayanan is the Managing Director of SunSofts. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of Information Technology as a hardcore marketing professional mostly in the areas of Mainframe, Micro / Mini computer, Hardware and Software, etc.

Currently he is into Hardware Maintenance, Sales and Service functioning in Chennai. His flagship activity has been Management Systems Consultancy. His IT tenures have been both in India and Overseas.

He is also been a member of social service organizations like Lions club, Param Shanthi Nilayam, Smile, Tasmia and a proactive task master.
